Since 2004, Mr. Brustia has been a member of the Rome Bar Association, working primarily in commercial, real estate, and sports law. His professional practice ranges from out-of-court consulting to litigation assistance. He is also highly experienced in civil liability, competition law, and intellectual property matters.

Throughout his career, he has assisted Italian and foreign clients in international arbitration proceedings before prominent institutions, such as the ICC and CAM, as well as top international sports law institutions, including the TAS/CAS, FIA Court of Appeal, and UIM Court of Appeal.

Since 2015, he has chaired the Disciplinary Committee of CMAS (Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques), the first-instance judicial body of the international federation recognized by the IOC that governs underwater sports worldwide, including freediving, fin swimming, and sport fishing.

His fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish enable him to handle international mandates effectively.
